Then the pressurized liquid is cooled in the condenser, then pushed through a nozzle into a non-pressurized chamber. When the liquid isn’t under pressure, it turns back into a gas, but that process requires the same energy the gas gave off when turning into a liquid, so it takes in heat energy and makes the gas and surrounding air colder. Then your fan blows the cold air towards you, and the refrigerant gas goes back to the compressor.

Then they’ll find whatever leaks are present and get those parts replaced.
